حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَعْمَرٌ وَيُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ:
أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ رضي الله عنها، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، أَخْبَرَتْهُ قَالَتْ: أَقْبَلَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رضي الله عنه عَلَى فَرَسِهِ مِنْ مَسْكَنِهِ بِالسُّنْحِ، حَتَّى نَزَلَ فَدَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَلَمْ يُكَلِّمْ النَّاسَ، حَتَّى دَخَلَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ رضي الله عنها، فَتَيَمَّمَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ مُسَجًّى بِبُرْدِ حِبَرَةٍ، فَكَشَفَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ، ثُمَّ أَكَبَّ عَلَيْهِ فَقَبَّلَهُ، ثُمَّ بَكَى فَقَالَ: بِأَبِي أَنْتَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ، لَا يَجْمَعُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ مَوْتَتَيْنِ، أَمَّا الْمَوْتَةُ الَّتِي كُتِبَتْ عَلَيْكَ فَقَدْ مُتَّهَا. |

Aisyah r.a., isteri Nabi ﷺ, telah memberitahu bahawa Abu Bakar r.a. datang menaiki kudanya dari tempat kediamannya di kawasan Sunh. Setelah sampai, beliau turun dari kuda lalu masuk ke dalam masjid. Beliau tidak berbicara dengan orang ramai, sebaliknya terus masuk menemui Aisyah r.a. Lalu beliau menuju kepada Nabi ﷺ yang ketika itu telah diselimuti dengan kain *hibarah* (sejenis kain bercorak dari Yaman). Abu Bakar membuka penutup wajah Baginda, lalu menunduk dan menciumnya. Kemudian beliau menangis dan berkata: “Demi ayahku (aku tebus dirimu dengan ayahku), wahai Nabi Allah, Allah tidak akan mengumpulkan atasmu dua kematian. Adapun kematian yang telah ditetapkan ke atasmu, engkau telah mengalaminya.” |

ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, narrated that Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came riding his horse from his residence in al-Sunḥ. When he arrived, he dismounted and entered the mosque without speaking to anyone. He went directly to ʿĀʾishah, then approached the Prophet ﷺ, who was covered with a cloth made of *ḥibarah* (a Yemeni striped fabric). Abu Bakr uncovered the Prophet’s face, leaned forward and kissed him, then began to weep. He said, “May my father be sacrificed for you, O Prophet of Allah. Allah will not cause you to die twice. As for the death that was written for you, you have now experienced it.” |
